DM Dance’s Summer School is perfect for anyone aged 5-12yrs who has a love of all things dance and wants to have great fun! Our qualified dance instructors teach the kids a range of different dance styles including, street, musical theatre, jazz and pop dance. We use props, make crafts and create a performance to show to the parents at the end of each week. The emphasis is always on having lots of fun so we intersperse the day with lots of games and team building activities too. We aim for your child to leave each day with a beaming smile!

Our Summer School is a perfect introduction to dance for your child. If they love bopping round the house and can’t sit still during the holidays let us keep them entertained and teach them some fabulous new moves!
Summer Camp is run for boys and girls aged 5 – 12 years by our experienced and qualified dance teachers. All of whom teach for us during the week at DM Dance.
The kids will have 6 weeks of dance workshops in a range of dance styles from Street to Musical Theatre, suited to their age and ability followed with a performance on each Friday for their parents and friends to come along and watch what they’ve learnt. Every week has a different theme, such as Movie Musicals, Pirate and Carnival!

We will also be offering Wrap around care before and after the main camp times for those parents who need to drop off earlier and/or pick up later.
Children must bring their own food and drink – Breakfast, Lunch boxes and snacks depending on what sessions they attend.

Who are we? And where are we?
DM Studios is the sister studio of the long established DM Dance Centre in Portswood, run by Philip and Christine Diment for 40 years.
We are situated near Shamrock Quay and just down the road from Southampton Football club.
Our building has undergone extensive renovation to become one of the best dancing schools in the South with sprung wooden flooring, ballet barres, mirrors and air conditioning. No more dancing in dark and dingy village halls our facilities are light, bright and state of the art plus we have a spacious waiting room for parents to wait in with tea and coffee making facilities and vending machine.
We have the some of the best and most experienced dance teachers in the South, allowing us to offer fantastic classes in a range of different styles that we’ve not been able to offer before.
