During the summer holidays our weekly dance classes take a break, there is always a real concern about regression in our student’s ability and fitness. That is why we want our talented junior and inter students to join Miss Leila or Miss Caroline every Monday in August for the Junior Intensive Dance Days.
Mondays in August 9.30am – 1pm Junior Intensive Dance Days for dancers aged 5-12 years £25 per session
Dates 28th July, 4th August, 11th August, 18th August & Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2025

Senior Elite Summer Intensive Dance Workshops 2025
(11+ yrs) – Limited number of places – first come first served.
As we enter into the summer holidays and our weekly dance classes stop, there is always a real concern about regression in our student’s ability and fitness. That is why we want all of our truly dedicated and committed students to enrol in our summer intensive program. Each Wednesday throughout the summer we will be running a summer workshop day similar to what they’d experience at a professional dance college. With guest choreographers, stamina work, and technique classes in a range of different dance styles.
Wednesdays in August 10.30am -3pm Elite Intensive Dance Days for dancers aged 11-17 years £35 per session
Dates 30th July, 6th August, 13th August, 20th August and 27th August 2025

Who are we? And where are we?
DM Studios is the sister studio of the long established DM Dance Centre in Portswood, run by Philip and Christine Diment for 40 years. We are situated near Shamrock Quay and just down the road from Southampton Football club. Our building has undergone extensive renovation to become one of the best dancing schools in the South with sprung wooden flooring, ballet barres, mirrors and air conditioning. No more dancing in dark and dingy village halls our facilities are light, bright and state of the art plus we have a spacious waiting room for parents to wait in with tea and coffee making facilities and vending machine. We have the some of the best and most experienced dance teachers in the South, allowing us to offer fantastic classes in a range of different styles that we’ve not been able to offer before.
