Class Information

Kids Modern Classes: Classes for ages 2 upwards, a fun and friendly introduction to modern. Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style which originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world. It is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style.

Kids Combo Classes: In these classes, the children will learn all three styles of Ballet/Tap/Modern. These classes start from as young as 2yrs and go up to 8yrs – after that the children can choose which styles they want to continue further. 

What to wear:

We have a uniform for this class of black leotard and black footless tights. Barefeet or foot thongs. Our Modern uniform is now available to buy through our uniform website – https://dms.mydancestore.co.uk/
